Wednesday the ? - Ampfarm - Penge

Small Victories and others TBC.

Doors

Ampfarm is on top of The Alexandra pub down Parish Lane in Penge. It's a short walk from the 358 bus stop (get off when you see a Sainsburys), or Penge station.

Another band starting out, another gig at Ampfarm, it's gotta be done. There's always another quality band playing on the night, and the pub downstairs has a pool table, sells unwatered-down alcohol and often has acoustic nights we usually end up playing a few songs at afterwards. So even if we just get to test how well our music goes down with a more emo teen crowd, and hopefully get a few more fans, it's gunna be a good night.

upcoming gigs

? - The Clapham Grand - Clapham

Small Victories and others TBC.

Doors
7:30 pm
Tickets
£6 or 8 on the door
Entry
Over 18

The Clapham Grand is situated at numbers 21 to 25 St John's Hill, Clapham Junction, SW11 1TT. It's a ridiculously short walk from Clapham Junction station and all of the evenings festivities should be over in time for the last tube or train.

"The Clapham Grand: captures the glamour and excitement of Soho in SW11, all in a vintage and theatrical listed building with cascading balconies, VIP boxes, state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. New VIP areas, three gleaming new bars, black velvet lined booths and low, candle-lit tables ensure that the atmosphere at The Grand is superb." All of that, plus us and some other rocking bands... what more do you need?

The Amersham Arms - New Cross

Bournemouth Uni - Bournemouth

previous gigs

Saturday 29th April - West One Four - West Kensington

Small Victories, Civillian, Messiah, Tokyo Dawns, Jane Doe, The Moon, Plug My Socket.

Another fun filled night at West One Four. We didn't get through to the final, but when we didn't really sell that many tickets and our drummer didn't get to the venue until we were supposed to walk on stage we didn't really expect to. Yet with a lot of new fans given some small victories, our friend count on myspace going up, and a funky, mosh pit filled set played (apart from the bit where Dan threw up) it's still going down as a victory.

Friday 24th March - Darrick Wood - Orpington

Daisy's Sweet Hearts, Moving Pictures, Small Victories and The Blunt Skulls.

Back at Darrick Wood... err interesting sound, funky fairy lighting and a bit of a lark.

Saturday 25th Feb - West One Four - West Kensington

Jane Doe, Eight Weeks, Small Victories, Big Hand and some others that were all to easily forgotten.

...and we came second. With Nick standing on a nail, me starting my new job and Ewan being in Paris there wasn't time for much band practicing or gig pushing, but due to a few well thanked fans (if we didn't thank you before enjoy it now), some other classy bands and a damn dirty and funky set we managed to grab a good part of the crowd and even had a few on stage dancing visitors during our set. Good night, good atmoshphere, bring on round two.

Thursday 26th Jan - West One Four - West Kensington

Waking Sophie, Small Victories, The Animators and Sender.

...came and went in a flourish of cheers and demos being handed out to new fans. Thanks to everyone who enjoyed the music and showed it with the cunning use of claps and cheers. See you all at the next one.

Tuesday 3rd Jan - Bull & Vic - Dartford

Small Victories and Loverock Road.

Sexy pub venue, good crowd who got into our music, some crazy old dancing drunk guy, fairy lights and a giant christmas tree next to us while we played. Not a bad combination.

Thurs 29th Dec - The Hope and Anchor - Islington

Dexter, Small Victories, Night Trip and Dead Monroe.

Another night, another enjoyable gig. The venue was amazing, the other bands kicked and the crowd and support we got was awesome. Although we didn't feel we played our best everyone we talked to seemed to enjoy it. So thanks a lot to everyone who came down, and we promise to play better next time... and hopefully have the fairy lights on stage, damn there not being enough power sockets.

Thursday 8th Dec - The Cartoon - Croydon

Amanacer, Daisy's Sweat Hearts, Small Victories and Mad Dog.

Just a bit enjoyable. 3 other amazing bands, my solo singing virginity being taken like a bitch, our first playing of one of our new and favourite songs Old Lady and generally a sexy night with a good set from every band playing.

Tues 11th Oct - The Purple Turtle - Camden

DJ Set, Small Victories, Hiatus, and Scribe.

A great venue with quality sound, 3 rockin bands and a DJ set. The only bad thing being the strange cartoon/Hentai porn being shown before any of the bands started, I mean was a cartoon woman sexually pleasuring someone with her foot really needed.

Sunday 11th Sept - Upstairs at the Garage

The Vexons, Analease, Small Victories and Hiatus.

A nearly sold out venue, 4 quality bands of all different genres, great set, great fun, great night.

Thanks for all the support on our first gig.
